Kevin Virden Counseling LLC Welcomes You
“Abraham Lincoln is reputed to have said that if he had eight hours to cut down a tree, he’d spend several of these hours sharpening his ax.”
― Irvin D. Yalom, The Gift of Therapy

My Story
After a lengthy and rewarding career as a Human Resources professional in the Healthcare industry, I pursued an "encore career" in Counseling.
I have previously worked with thousands of business colleagues in the areas of professional development, employee relations, and executive coaching.
I now bring this experience supplemented with an education in Marriage and Family Therapy to offer clients a safe place to explore the parts of their life they desire to experience change.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce insight, clarity and expanding the self.
Attachment Science
“Recognize and admit that you are emotionally attached to and dependent on your partner in much the same way that a child is on a parent for nurturing, soothing, and protection. Adult attachments may be more reciprocal and less centered on physical contact, but the nature of the emotional bond is the same.”
Sue Johnson, Hold Me Tight
